255 Of Cecil's Weapons

Updated 03 Aug
To get 255 of Cecil's weapons, do this: First, arm Cecil with some arrows and a bow. The bow must be in Cecil's left hand, and the arrows in his right. Start a battle and go to Cecil's item screen and swap the arrows with nothing and the bow with the avenger. (The avenger is in the slyph cave.) Then have kill the enemies, but don't let anyone do anything. (Not even defend.) After the battle, go back to Cecil's Equipment screen, and you shold see a number in Cecil's empty hand. Put the weapon you want to be duplicated 255 times in Cecil's right hand, then unequip it. Then take the avenger sword off. The weapon you put in the blank space will be duplicated 255 times.

Item Duplication

Updated 05 May
First make sure the item you want to duplicate is equipped, then enter a battle and select the Item option of the person with the item you wish to duplicate. Scroll down to a blank space on the item list and press A to place a glove there, scroll back up to the equipped items then press A on the one you'll be duplicating, then press B to leave the screen.

Hold the L and R buttons to run from the battle, press X to see the subscreen, select Equip and the character who has the item, press A on empty spot the item used to occupy, then press A on the actual item that's now in the items list. You will now see that your character has two of the selected item equipped.

WARNING: Using this little trick could prevent you from getting other items that you need to complete the game.
