Cheats for Street Fighter II Turbo Hyper Fighting on Super Nintendo

Special Moves Toggle

Select VS. Mode in either edition. After each player has selected a fighter, you will see the Difficulty/Stage Select screen.
On Controller 2, press Down, R Button, Up, L Button, Y and B.
If you have entered the code correctly, you will hear a tone and see a new subscreen appear.

Character Profiles

Turn on the game and wait until you see the first profile of a fighter.
On Controller 2, hold the L and R Buttons for as long as you would like to look at the profiles.

Extra Turbo Speed

 Updated 17 Jul
Let the intro run until you see "Turbo" go across the screen in huge letters.
On Controller 2, quickly press Down, R Button, Up, L Button, Y, B.
It is important to finish the code before the Title screen comes fully into view.
When selecting your Turbo Speed, keep pressing right to get out to 10 stars.

No Special Moves

After the "Licensed by Nintendo" logo fades away, and just as you hear the music begin, press Down, R Button, Up, L Button, Y and B. It is important to finish the code before the "Capcom" logo fades. If you have entered the code correctly, you will hear a tone. This lets you play through the game with out any of your special moves. You will only be able to punch, kick, and jump. This will not work for VS. mode, but it does work for both the Turbo and Normal (Championship) editions.
