Speedy Superstars

Rather than improving your custom players one or two "pips" at a time, after each game, try the following:
  • From the main menu, go to options and set injuries to "off" - this keeps your starters from coming out
  • go to "season game"
  • go to "team control" and set all teams to skip
  • go to "season team data" and set your starters

Run through the entire season, and check the superstar editor page... if you created decent players (and if the game was kind), several of them should be improvable, and you can see improve stat points up to an entire bar (sometimes more) if you're lucky.

Repeat this for several seasons until your rookies are well-seasoned, and before you even play the first game your team will be a dynasty.

Extra Player Creation Points

Enter the player creation screen and view how many power lines have been assigned to a player. Leave that player incomplete if not enough lines are present. Repeat this several times until the player has three or more full power lines.

Sound Test

Hold L + R at the title screen.

Hall Of Famers

 Updated 11 May
Win three consecutive Super Bowls with the same team, then immediately enter the next season with the trade mode enabled. Various players from the Hall of Fame will be in the agent pool.
