If your one of those people who just can't face loosing a game, then here is a great tip for you. After a match save, then for your NEXT match choose text commentry. If you win, great. But if you don't then go to options and restart the game. Then load up your saved game and go back to the match you just lost. This time choose the highlights and watch them. You may win, but if you don't, restart and load up the game again and select match highlights on the same match again, but this time quit the highlights right at the start (Put the blue curser over the square button and press the X button on the PSX controll pad) and go to the the screen showing the score at the end of the match, and you should of won as 99% of the time, one of these setups for watching the match will be set up to make you win the game.

Extra Money

Play until the end of a season. Refuse any player that needs a new contract.
When they enter a Free Transfer, wait until another club is interested in them.
Select the player that is being given the offer, then give him a contract and increase the cost to any desired price.
They will accept it.
