To enable cheats a command-line parameter must be added to the shortcut for the game. To do this right click on the shortcut and edit the bit that says C:Program FilesActivisionStar Trek Elite Force IIEF2.exe so that it includes the following parameters:

+set developer 1 +set cheats 1

Once you've done this double-click the shortcut. The game will start with the console window already open. Type in +set cheats 1 and hit Enter. Now hit the Tilde key and press Escape to bring up the main menu.

While playing, press the Tilde key to bring down the console and enter the following code to enable the cheat:

stoprecord
