When you put in the cd for heros II a window opens up for options to the game. click on more and you will move to a new window. It says GURU or something like that. Go into it and you can cheat for your game by giving you a lot of resources. Click on the one that says all the resources and save it to your game then exit. When you load your game check your resources. There should be over 16 million or so. Then you go ahead and build up your castle. Now, after you have everything wait for the population to increase. Then go to the market place and trade about half of almost everything for gold. Do this until you get into the negative for the amount of gold you have. Then click on the group of people you want to buy (Titans, dragons, phoenix, etc.) But make sure you have the resource it takes to buy them though (gems, sulfer, mercury, etc.) You should end you with about over 1,000+. But after you do this, don't buy anymore of that group because it will cancel out with how much you have. The amount after will be negative number of people.

Extra Mobility, Free Spells And More

/NWC: A useful cheat that will access the game's debugger.
With it you can give your hero extra mobility, free spells,
free resources, free creatures, and allow you to select
secondary skills. This cheat is NOT typed during the game.
It is typed after the line HEROES2W.EXE as an extension(it
will look like "HEROES2W.EXE /NWC".) Under Windows 95, you
can create a shortcut to Heroes II and under Properties
option, change the executable to read HEROES2W.EXE /NWC.
