Cheat Mode

 Updated 10 Jul
Hold L1 and press Triangle, Left, Left, Right, Square, Up, Up, Left, Circle at the title screen.
Then while playing a game, press L2 + R2 to display a cheat menu.

Shortcut In Water Race In World 1
There is a shortcut in the Water Race.
When you get to the waterfall go through it and you will be on the other side of the river.

Infinite lives
At the title screen, hold L1 and press Circle, Down, Left, Up, Right, Triangle, Down.

Infinite crystals
At the title screen, hold L1 and press Square(2), Circle, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right.
Then while playing a game, hold R2 and press Square to add one hundred crystals to your inventory;
Repeat this to add an unlimited amount of crystals to your inventory.

Win the Boat Race
Go into the boat race and then when you start to see the watterfall turn into and come out in front.
Doing so twice should get you the win first time

Tip: Make sure you take the time to talk with the Gobbos--they offer hints and secrets.

Tip 2

Tip: Collect coins as you travel through the levels, then go to the store and buy the Gummi Jump. This allows you to go back to earlier levels to find secret ledges high above, which are unreachable without the power-up.

Tip 3

Tip: Search the waterfall in Sailor Village during the boat race to find the last colored crystal.
