If you're stuck on the first Island and can't be bothered playing through the missions, you can skip over to the second island (Staunton Island) by using the Flying Cars cheat, stealing a very fast car (for example the Banshee found in Easy Credit autos) and driving up the Callaghan Bridge slip road holding the button assigned to "Dodo up".
When you reach the lip of the bridge your car should start lifting off, this will only last for a few seconds but with practice you can clear the gap in the bridge and make it onto the other side. You can save the game once you've made it to the other side by following the "home" marker on the radar.
A similar trick may be used to jump the bridge onto the third island (Shoreside Vale), but beware: if you are wasted or busted while on these two islands you'll return to Portland and have to perform the jump(s) again. |
