| You need to be good at collecting items, or just plain lucky. You will need a lightning bolt for this trick to work. Towards the end of the track is a big ramp jump. As soon as you land the jump, look at your radar to see where your opponents are at. When they are about to reach the ramp, use the lightning bolt. This will cause all racers that are about to jump, to fall straight down the jump as they attempt to clear it. This is a guarnteed win every time, due to the fact that all racers will be back at the middle of the track. |

| When you play this race you notice all the sides are filled with sand. When you go up the first and second jump there is none. When you go up the first or second jump, press the R (or bounce) button when you are right next to the wall. If all goes well, you will be on the other side of the wall, well ahead of everyone. This is a very tricky cheat, but it works. Good luck |

| After you do the first shortcut on the mountain you will be put up on the monster jump. There is another cheat where you jump past the left of the monster jump and hit the small grassy patch on the mountain. If you do it right, Latitu will put you in front of the last fake item boxes which will cut about 10 seconds of your lap. If you don't make it, Latitu will put you back of the monster jump. It is a difficult cheat to make. |

| At the start of rainbow road, before you jump off the big ramp, you veer right and with the most speed possible you go left and jump the stars right when you are about to go down. You land on another track if done correctly and turn left. |

| On the kalimari desert board if you have a star and you are on the 1st or 2nd lap, save the star until you get to the second train track. When you get to the second train track, turn left and use the star when you enter the tunnel. This will advance you to the next lap. |

| In the stage "Koopa Beach" the item on top of the rock is a BLUE shell every time. To get it you do NOT need a mushroom or a star but they help quite a bit. If you don't have a mushroom or a star you may get it but you will probably hit the box and fall but if you have enough speed you will grab it and be able to continually drive on to romp home for a first place. |

| On the ripples at the start get enough speed to jump to the left by the wall. On the next ripples that contain an approximate 10 at the end there is a wall with red and white strips turn into reverse and head towards and jump if you don't make it the first time try on time trial mode. After the big jump go straight until you come close to a wall right before you hit it jump over it. |

| When you start, do a U-turn and drive backwards. (Don't worry about Liukitu's REVERSE sign) Keep driving until you get to the end of a bridge. At the end, jump off the RIGHT side of the bridge and onto the snow. Keep driving, and Likitu will pick you up and place you completely on the bridge. (If you are placed back on the snow, then it didn't work.) If you executed this correctly, you will have advanced the entire lap. Repeat this trick (after crossing the finish line) and you should be able to finish the track in 45 seconds or less! |

| On the bridge that is behind you at the start jump the upper right corner onto the snow if you start to fall back keep jumping by pressing R until you reach flat surface then turn and head towards a light over the horizon. |
