Two Players As Same Character (PAL)

Hold Right + B on controller one and Left + A on controller two at the title screen. Press C on controller two while all buttons are held. Select two player mode and choose the same character. Note: Both characters will appear identical.

*Note: This code is for the PAL version of the game.

Extra Lives

On the first stage when you start turn around facing the wrong way and walk until you are nearly off the screen and press B. You'll score an extra life.

Bonus Lives

(1) The first one is towards the end of the second level. The stage right after you beat up everyone inside the moving truck (right before you fight the Jetpack guys). You start out with the front of the truck sticking out of the left side of the screen. If you go up to the left-hand corner of the screen behind the truck, and press B, you'll pick up an extra life.
The second extra life is in that crazy foggy stage at the carnival (stage 3 I think?) with the exploding eggs. At the part where you fight that wanna-be-3D dragon thing that sticks out of the center of the screen, right below the dragon's base in the wall at the bottom of the screen, if you press B, you'll pick up another extra life. And this isn't something tricky that occasionally works. Those 2 extra lives ARE ALWAYS THERE, and they're a nice little treat.

Cheat Mode

Highlight the "Options" selection at the main menu, hold A + B on controller two, and press any button on controller one. Additional options that allow level selection, new difficulty levels (Mania and Very Easy), and increasing number of lives up to nine will be displayed.
